Senior Accountant Getting Involved In Volunteer Experiences.

Lutherville, MD, January 17, 2011: CONGRATULATIONS to Weyrich, Cronin & Sorra’s (WC&S) Brianne Baccaro Norris! Brianne has been selected to participate in Business Volunteer Unlimited's (BVU) Getting Involved in Volunteer Experiences (GIVE) Class 2011!

As a member of GIVE Class 2011, Brianne will be exposed to a series of exclusive learning seminars, volunteer opportunities, trainings and networking events hosted by GIVE. She will have a one-on-one mentoring relationship with a member of the GIVE Advisory Board, and an opportunity to work with the entire class to participate in a project that will raise funds and awareness for the GIVE Program.

Brianne is a Senior Accountant at WC&S and has over 7 years of public accounting experience. She has worked extensively on audit and tax engagements. Brianne serves as a volunteer for the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Harford County Jaycees young professional organization.

GIVE is a civic engagement and leadership program in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The curriculum exposes participants to Baltimore's community issues and challenges, professional development workshops and peer networking opportunities, strengthening civic leadership interests and abilities.

GIVE is a two-year membership based program. Brianne will be working with 43 other professionals who are interested in both personal and professional development. Once she has completed the two-year term Brianne will be matched with a nonprofit in the Baltimore area.
